Some of the new bathrooms look great but usually what makes them look so good is the overall setting rather than the actual suite. Of course, if you have a rolltop bath or Japanese dish sink then the actual suite is extremely important as that is what gets noticed immediately upon entering the bathroom.
What I’m getting at here is that too many homeowners waste loads of money buying bathroom suites with the latest curves that nobody notices. You can pick up a basic modern bathroom for as little as £350 so why spend £1,000 or more for a very similar designer suite with similar lines when the quality is much the same?
Most of our UK homes have a very tiny bathroom and in many cases the new suites are very similar. What makes most bathrooms look different is not the suite but the tiles and other decorations so my advice is not to waste loads of money on a suite that gets buried within the decor.
